Thank you for visiting Pacific Transportation Federal Credit Union's web site and reviewing our Internet Privacy Policy Statement.  PTFCU recognizes the importance of our responsibility in protecting our members' private information.  We collect and use only the information we need to deliver the high level of member service you have come to expect, including informing you about products, services, and other opportunities that may be of benefit to you.  This notice sets forth our policies regarding our use and protection of your financial information through our website.  PTFCU's General Privacy Policy is available for review at any branch location or by request.

 

Information Collected and Stored Automatically
For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, our web host employs software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information or to otherwise cause damage.

 

For site management, information is collected for statistical purposes. Computer software programs are used to compile broad statistical trends that will help us improve navigation and content of the site by assessing what information is of most or least interest and identifying system performance or problem areas. No personal information is collected or used for this analysis.

 

We identify and track the following :

The single, previous Internet domain visitors have come from when accessing our site. Internet Account Access Service
For PTFCU's Account Access Service, we request specific member information: your member number and password. This information is used to verify your identity, provide access to the credit union and its transactions, and determine the specific member data file to make available.  We also collect information volunteered by our members through electronic surveys and forms. This information is used to improve the content of www.ptfcu.org, our products and services, and to respond to specific member requests and instructions. We may forward your requests to a credit union employee or to an operating partner (a nonaffiliated third party) who is best able to respond to your request in a timely manner.

Children
We do not use www.ptfcu.org to knowingly solicit data from, or market to, children under the age of 18.

 

Security of Information
We maintain electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.  On our website the security measures include: 128 bit encryption, the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, double redundancy firewalls, a password, lockouts and time outs.  We continually assess and update our systems to improve our technology for protecting information.
