The Credit Union Difference
Moving Forward, Together.
PacTrans Federal Credit Union was founded in 1939 by employees of Southern Pacific Railroad as a way to provide affordable financial services to their co-workers and families. Today PacTrans FCU serves more than 8,000 members including Union Pacific, Amtrak, MV Transportation, and Veolia employees, and their family members. In addition, our affiliation with the Pasadena Model Railroad Club allows prospective members to join with a membership to PMRRC. PMRRC membership is open to everyone.
Credit unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives. Unlike banks, credit unions do not issue stock or pay dividends to stockholders. Credit unions exist to serve their members. Their earnings are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher interest on deposits, and lower fees.
PacTrans FCU’s mission is to provide excellent financial products and services with highly motivated and knowledgeable staff. Let us provide and serve you for all your financial needs!
